Mobile Vehicle Technician – Day Shift 4 on 4 off rotation

Location - Andover & surrounding area

OTE £50-60k

BP Rolls Commercial Fleet Management team provides on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of National Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets)with large fleets and LCV’s. We are committed to minimise VOR (vehicle off road) and reduce vehicle downtime.

To respond to the expanding business and Client sites in the area, we are looking to appoint an additional Mobile Vehicle Technician to the Andover Depot. The ideal candidate will be located within an hour’s radius of Andover, Hampshire. The role will align with other technicians on a 4 on, 4 off day shift rotation.

Our Mobile Vehicle Technicians liaise closely with our in-house 24-hour operations team, as well as BP Rolls Nationally located Depots, for support and administrative elements of the role.

This is fantastic opportunity to join our rapidly growing and dynamic Home Shopping Fleet repair and maintenance division. You will also be provided with a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle to fulfil your role.

Requirements:

You will be servicing and repairing a variety of Class 7 Light Commercial vehicles, some with refrigerated components, therefore:

• You must be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (body/electrical/mechanical) and able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and practical skills.
• Ideally with 3 years of experience, although training in specific areas can be provided.
• Enthusiasm, maturity and a positive attitude are essential, as this role works independently and to proactive performance measures.
• Professional & skilled workmanship
• Clean driving licence, no driving convictions considered.
• This is a customer facing role therefore experienced Customer service skills are needed.

This is a permanent, full-time day shift position
