BP Rolls' Commercial Fleet Management team provides on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets) with large fleets and LCV’s. We are committed to minimise VOR (vehicle off road) and reduce vehicle downtime. Due to our growth in support and store coverage, our Newport Depot requires an additional 2x Mobile Technicians in the South & West Wales region, to support the demand on the DAY shift , working on a 4 on 4 off rotation basis.

Mobile Vehicle Technician – Commercial Fleet Management (Home Shopping)

South & West Wales- DAY shift - 4 on 4 off

BP Rolls’ Commercial Fleet Management team provides on-site technical support for maintenance and servicing of Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets) with large fleets and LCV’s. We are committed to minimise VOR (vehicle off road) and reduce vehicle downtime.

Due to our growth in support and store coverage, our Newport Depot requires an additional Mobile Technician in the South & West Wales region, to support the demand on the DAY shift , working on a 4 on 4 off rotation basis.

The position will work alongside our highly qualified team of Mobile Technicians located across South & West Wales on a 24 / 7 basis.

You will be provided with a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle to undertake your role and have direct support from our Newport Depot.

Requirements:

Our Mobile Technicians liaise closely with our in house 24-hour operations team who are based at our HQ in Andover, Hampshire, as well as our additional 4 nationally located depots for technical support.

  • You must hold minimum Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician certification (body/electrical/mechanical) and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and practical capability.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of post qualified technician experience. Some specific training will be provided as part of the induction.
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a can-do attitude are essential.
  • Professional & skilled workmanship with the ability to problem solve independently & efficiently.
  • Clean driving licence, no driving convictions will be considered.
  • This is a customer facing role therefore experienced Customer service skills are needed along with the ability to problem solve to seek resolution on occasion.
  • Already located within the territory of Wales with legal Right to Work status already held.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Uniform / overalls, PPE and a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle are provided. Alongside opportunities for industry recognised training and development.
