Role:

As a Master Vehicle Technician at BP Rolls Hull, you will play a critical role in the Depot, ensuring the highest standards of vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for our Clients’ vehicles. You will be responsible for complex fault finding and repairs whilst overseeing quality assurance and team work.

This is a senior position in the team, suited to a highly skilled Vehicle Technician who holds professionalism, high performance and technical excellence as a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid systems.
  • Use manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in line with BP Rolls’ quality and safety standards.
  • Support and mentor the technician team, providing guidance and training where necessary
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, industry regulations, health & safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and parts used, collaborating with wider team members as needed
  • Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (Level 4 or 5 qualifications highly desirable).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior technician role.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical systems knowledge.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
